Violence Prevention Certificate

Let's Be Clear: You can change the future!

The Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (OSRR) and Office of Institutional Equity (OIE) offer a certification opportunity for all UCF enrolled students. Students who successfully complete all requirements will receive a certificate that identifies them as a trauma-informed leader on campus. Learning outcomes for this series include (1) understanding how to identify sexual and interpersonal violence, (2) UCF’s trauma-informed approach to prevention and response, (3) strategies to intervene safely in instances where violence could occur, and (4) how society shapes our understanding of sexual and interpersonal violence.

 

Violence Prevention Certificate Requirements

  • Attend two workshops (2 total hours);
  • Attend a 2-hour bystander intervention training facilitated by UCF Green Dot;
  • Complete the Victim Services Webcourse, Knights in the Know; and
  • Must be in good disciplinary standing with UCF.
